Question:
What can be taken for gas?

I'm 2 weeks pos-op and having major problems with gas. It's at the point that I can't eat or drink anything when this happens.Has anyone had this problem and what did they take?    — Carol P. (posted on April 30, 2001)

As always, please check with your doctor. I used the infant simethicone drops and they worked wonders.

Try GAS-X chewables. I had really bad gas and these helped. Also getting someone to pat you on the back as if burping a baby works very well.

I used simethicone gel caps like Gas-x (extra strength) and these helped alot.
