Kevin at three weeks post of , I would think that you should be on full
liquids, or soft foods. Definetly not pancakes. Do you have dietician ,
to consult on this? Have you checked with your Doctor for an eating plan.
At this point you should be eating for healing and protein. Good luck,

Spray "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" and sugar free syrup.
I've even got my kids doing it now. BTW, BTC's post-op binder has a recipe
for pureed French toast. Buy the prepared stuff...the egg gives it a
protein boost. Throw it in the blender with the pseudobutter and syrup and
give a whirl. Bon Appetit!

Yes! Of course... but look for the High Protein ones. I
get mine on Carb
Smart.com. They have 22g's protein & 3 g's carbs per
serving. I use butter (DS) and sugar free syrup. Enjoy!

I guess it depends on your surgery, Kevin. I had a serious craving 10 days
post op Duodenal Switch and went to a Bob Evan's where I had a pancake with
a fried egg, "over easy" on top. I used a touch of syrup and
man-o-man was that ever tasty! But, if you still need to be on liquids or
pureed foods then follow the advice of the people with the RNY type
surgery. Fondly,

I ate regular blueberry pancakes. However, I was only able to eat about 1/2
cup size. I used sugar free syrup sweetened with Splenda. It was good but
very filling! I bought the syrup at a regular grocery store.
