Hi, I actually drank that and Major Peters bloody mary mix about 1 week
out. I was SO hungry for something that tasted good and spicy I couldn't
stand it. I only drank about 3 or 4 ozs but it tasted SO good and didn't
bother me at all. But I don't have a touchy stomach. Ever. Before or after
surgery. I've been very fortunate. Just the normal getting used to chewing
everything to death and not drinking big gulps, etc. I'm 6 months out and
while I'm a slow loser, I'm losing again after a 3 month plateau! Good luck
to you. Sharon B. -65lbs and counting.....

I started drinking V8 juice about 10 days out. I had nver really cared for
it before, but after surgery I craved it! I am 3 weeks out now, and drink a
cup of it every morning...Barb

I drank V-8 from day three onward. Tolerated it when other things made me
nauseous. I still drink it.

I did tomato juice and it made me ill. By a month out it settled fine.
Everyone is different.

I could not tolerate pureed vegetables, so V-8 was an everyday choice for
me from the day I got home from the hospital (stayed 2 days for lap RNY). I
liked it with a splash of Tobassco and still had no problems with it.

v8 ... I stopped drinking it when the world of veggies and salad opened to
me.. and was just thinking I'd still enjoy it and am adding it back in my
diet.. just little cans. Its nice when you can't get veggies in.. I loved
it too for the salt.. it was the only salt I was getting in my diet early
on. Enjoy!
