I use Pro Score 100, but only learned to tolerate it at about 8 months post-op. It's not the greatest tasting, in my opinion, but it works, and I use it faithfully.

You can get the Pure Whey but not the PS100? Well, at least it is a reputable company. One of the most highly respected in the biz. OK, here's the scoop. The ProScore 100 is a blended protein, in fact, this is one of the best, hence the name Pro(tein) Score (in a rating system) 100%. Cute, huh? Blended wheys are #1 in bioavailability. 100% pure wheys are #2. So, yes, there is a difference, but not that much. Either one will do admirably for us. PS100 is the Rolls Royce and the other is the Ford. Perfectly servicable, just not the luxury model. PS100 is thick 'n rich mixed with water. The Pure Whey is thinner, not as richly flavorful. Soys are much further down the BV list, like #9 or so. They tend to be gritty, though the actual taste isn't so bad. Does this pretty much cover it for you?

I use a product called WHEY DELICIOUS (World Nutrition 877-4-A-BOOST) and it is AWESOME! Sugar-free (naturally sweetened with Stivia), 108 cal per 8oz serving, 21g protein, 5 carbs. I ordered Vanilla Bean b/c it mixes with everything. $34 for 2 lbs ... 36 8-oz servings. I mix a 1 oz scoop with 3 oz fresh squeezed oj, 2 oz water, 1/2 banana, 5 or 6 strawberries or some blueberries, a few ice cubes = YUMMY! There is NO aftertaste and you do not taste the powder at all! Tastes like "mall" fuitshakes! A great breakfast! My surgeon even ordered it!
