Question:
Any one know brand name of sugar free popsicles with splenda?
I'll be having surgery next Monday and need to purchase sugar free popsicles. I would like to know of a brand name to look for which uses splenda. — eprise616 (posted on October 13, 2003)

Blue Bunny makes popsicles sweetened with Splenda. They are yummy but a
little pricey. I am in Dallas and the only place I can find them is
Albertsons.

You could always make your own. Buy the little packets of unsweetened
Kool-Aid and make it with Splenda. You can freeze them in ice cube trays
(put saran wrap over the ice tray and stick a toothpick or popsicle stick
through each one). Or you can go to the store and buy one of those plastic
popsicle makers with the sticks attached. I've made them before and they
turn out good....but I find that they taste the best if you use a little
less water than called for so that they are stronger tasting. Visit my
profile page or www.freewebs.com/recipes-after-rny for a recipe book,
photos and sample recipes. Good luck to you!

You can also find sugar free ice cream bars at Walmart. There are even
sugar free Klondike bars. Still, check the package to be sure of the sugar
content, especially right after surgery. There are some really yummy ones,
tho.

I have had ice cream made with splenda but have never seen popcicles with
it. I purchase the sf Popcicle brand. In fact, that is nearly what I live
on. They are sooooooo good.

Blue Bunny makes ice cream fudgesicles and popsicles with Splenda. I find
them at Wal-mart Superstores. I also like the Popsicle brand sugar free
popsicles, but am not sure what sweetner it uses. More and more food
sources are beginning to use splenda, so keep your eyes out for good stuff.

My favorite is the Breyers Fruit Ice Bars. They are about 25 calories each
and are sweetened with Spenda.
I did not like the Lifesaver brand of pops.

Popsicle Brand has a sugar free that is great. I don't think they are made
with splenda but they only have 15 calories, they are sugar free, and they
won't make you dump!

Hello. I would buy the Popsicle brand. I think they were the best. They are
sugar free. I ate boxes of them early on and still eat them. They count as
liquid and make it easier to get all your water. I didn't like the
lifesaver brand either. They didn't melt and the flavors weren't that good.

I am using Edy's brand Fruit bars with NO SUGAR ADDED across the front of
the box, it does not have splenda or any other artifical sweetners. It uses
pure fruit juice for it's sweetness. Taste like heaven to me.
