Question:
am i able to hold too much?

I am being careful eating soft foods but am concerned because i can hold 8ozs of yogurt without being un comfotable. 1/2 cup cottage cheese fills me up tho. am i just anxious?    — becky E. (posted on October 31, 2002)

Becky, You are doing just fine. I was able to eat an 8 0z yogut at 10 days post-op. I freaked out. Yogurt is runny and passes right through your pouch. When you are able to eat meat, you will find that you will only be able to eat a couple of ounces at a time. Good luck!

I could eat 8 oz. yogart within a few days of coming home....I think it just kind of passes through the pouch. Dont worry~~This is going to work!!~ :0)
