Question:
has anyone used Inderal LA pre and post op?

I have been taking Inderal LA for many years and it works very well for me. I have heard that long acting medications are not well absorbed after surgery. Is this true? Will I have to take a different form of the med post op?    — [Anonymous] (posted on October 23, 2001)

I took inderal before and after surgery and had no problems. After surgery I had to take it in the liquid form until I was allowed to take capsules again. I stopped having to take any medication about 4 or 5 months out of surgery.
