Im having tummy tuck the 17th of this month with Dr Mary Gingrass in Nashville TN. My insurance denied me 2 times. Too much stress on me to try again so Im paying for it myself. $6208.00 for everything and this is outpatient with something called a pain pump. Good luck

Hi. What Carrie says sounds pretty ballpark. The pain pump (the "On-Q" system is the brand I use) puts numbing medicine right on the tightened muscles for 3 days or so. really helps a lot of patients with the pain !

I had my tummy tuck on the 23rd of July. Ins paid for the panni removal. But I wanted the full affect. I counld not see myself getting the bottom rolls removed and not the ones around my waist. So I got the anchor cut. My cost was $4000.00 extra that was for the belly button up. Ins paid for below belly button and hospital cost and all that goes with that. Hope this helps. My Dr was Dr.Peter Silversmith out of Alexandria Va.

My anchor-cut abdominoplasy (self-pay) was $5800 for the surgeon, $1250 for the out-patient surgical suite and $1350 for the anesthesiologist. This is in NJ. Also, the pain from the TT was minimal. What did hurt was my back from walking hunched over for a week!

Rita~ I am not sure what state you are in but a tummy tuck in California with my Dr. is between $7700 and $8300. depending on whether you have it at a surgery center or hospital. Both situations are with an outpatient stay and a beloved pain pump is included!!!!!! I am having a circumferential lower body lift which is a tummy tuck with tightening of the abdomen in the front as well as skin removal on the flanks and back. My insurance is paying for the front to be fixed and I am paying for the back. Right now have paid about $7000 out of pocket plus I will owe 20% percent of my overnight hospital fee and I will owe the anesthesiologist %20 of the bill for the front of me too. Basically I am getting a $20,000 surgery for much less than it should be so never be afraid to ask your insurance company they just may help you get exactly what you need!!!!
