Question:
Info on prospect heights nursing facility

I am to have surgery this month and i was told that the actual procedure will be done at hackensack university hospital, where i would stay one night and then be transfered to Prospect heights nursing facility. Can anyone tell me how long does one usual stay here after having a body lift? and what is the visitation process?    — e T. (posted on February 3, 2004)

I had LAP-RNY at Hackensack on 10/8/02 and stayed for two nights. Why would they move you to another facility after just one night? You need to discuss this with your surgeon and your insurance company. Good luck to you. Hackensack Hospital is more like a hotel, anyway. The care is wonderful.
