What are you eating? I have noticed that every 2 months or so I can eat
considerably more than just before. I am 6+ months out and it seems to have
leveled off. I can eat about a half cup of food at this point, more or less
depending on what it is. A 6 ounce yogurt stuffs me and I usually can't
quite finish it. I could however polish off half a bag of microwave popcorn
so I just stay away from it!

I'm six months out in two weeks and i notice I am eating more. It depends
on what I am eating. I can eat a small yogurt and about 3/4ths of a small
wendys' chili. I can eat about 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and only very
small peices of meat. About one or two ounces so I think it depends on
what you eat.

I'm a bit further out (9 mos anniversary July 30th and down 178 lbs) and I
can eat a WHOLE Lean Cuisine entree meal most of the time. If I want
veggies or salad too, I forego the carb part of the entree (potatoes or
rice). I can eat 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with a tiny bit of fruit. I
bet I could put away a cup of light soup. I can only do an ounce of two of
meet or chicken. (Now this is not at ONE sitting...lol) Some days are
better than others. I can NOT eat bread. This is good although I am
craving a good old fashioned sandwich!

At less than 6 months, I can put away quite a bit food on days and other
days, I'm not much interested. The other day when I was out traveling, I
was able to put away a whole Turkey Jack sandwich from Jack in the Box -
bread and all! Normally, I eat a 1/2 of can of fat free chili, a lean
cruisine meal, 3/4 of a restuarant salad meal (not the small dinner salad
but more like Cobb style), 2 soft tacos, 4-5 oz of meat, a slice of a large
pizza, a large peach, 1/2 a bag of popcorn, whole large detour bar, etc...
Post-op its just one of the above.. pre-op I could fit all the above in at
one meal!
