I've been using balsamic vinegar with no problems.

Vinegar should not cause dumping but I guess the acid in it could cause
nausea in some people. I eat red wine vinegar all the time and don't have
any problems at all.

My surgeon says dumping is individual and anyone can dump on anything. The
good news with foods like this it often disappears. I dumped on garlic
once. Now I eat it all the time.

Janey, I don't think it would cause dumping, but alot of post-ops have
problems with Acid Reflux and I would think this might trigger eat. I eat
a TON of Balsamic VInegar with my Oil Olive as a dressing and I have never
had a problem, but everyone is different. Good Luck. Heather Open RNY

You can basically dump on anything. It varies with the individual. I've
dumped on soy protein, cucumbers, and milk before, but other times I have
no problems with them. The only vinegar I'd be leery of partaking of too
much would be balsamic vinegar. It has a lot of natural sugars in it.
