Question:
Help with working around food all day.
I work around food all day I was hoping there were others who could tell me how they handle this. I will have my surgery on 7/21/03 and go back to work on 8/22/03. — Kimmie H. (posted on July 18, 2003)

I was amazed at how food is not as appealing anymore. I only think about
it when my pouch is empty, then it's difficult to really find something you
want. You will learn pretty quick how much food you can handle. You will
still have some old habits, so don't nibble. Be sure to eat 3 meals a day
with a snack maybe in the afternoon. For

Kimmie....this won't even be an issue for you at 4 mos. out. You'll be
amazed at how unappealing food is to you. I'm 2 years out and I eat until
I'm full (something I never experienced before) and then I stop. As a
formerly fat person, I can tell you, food won't be an issue anymore. Good
luck to you!

Hi, That won't even be an issue at first for you cuz you won't even be
hungry, but even after that, it will be okay. I beleive the more you work
around food the more you won't be interested in wanting to eat it at all!
Your taste buds will change too! Good Luck to you and congrats on your
upcoming surgery!
