Has any one ate popcorn at 6 weeks post op.

YES YES YES....I LOVE POPCORN....EAT IT ALL THE TIME...NO BUTTER OF COURSE AND JUST REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN EAT MORE POPCORN THAN USUAL FOOD SO DONT GET UPSET....ASLONG AS YOUR ON SOILD FOODS WHICH I WAS AT 6 WEEKS THAN YOU SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO! ENJOY...open rny 11/15/02 -80 LBS!

I'm the same as Sandra. I love my popcorn! I put spray butter on it and low sodium salt. I'm still addicted to salt!(bad bad bad lol) Chew good and enjoy! Open RNY Sept.19,2002 lost 109#

Hi Im 9 weeks post of lap. I eat small amounts of popcorn without butter in small amounts. So far no problems, and I also have 2 ulcers post op!! Good luck and enjoy

Popcorn is now one of my favorite snacks. It is supposed to be one of the hardest things to eat but it was always one of the easiest for me. Just make sure to get the light and not cover it in butter (one of my old favorites)

My surgeon allowed popcorn at 5 weeks post-op. I probably have a few cups of popcorn a few times a week. It keeps ya regular, if you know what I mean!

Yup--- I had some a few weeks ago (Paul Newman's No-butter popcorn-- very yummy). I didn't have any problem and I was able to eat a lot of it.
