Question:
drinking with the seeds
I am almost 3 months out.. weight loss is great.. im down 75 lbs, one of my habits for the past 2 months has been eating sunflower seeds in the shell, i pop the little seed out and take my time.. and chew really well..so they are like nothing really, i have my water next to me and i drink along with them.. and it gets more water in me.. i dont drink with any of my other food.. 30 prior of after... just when i am doing the sunflower seeds.. what do you guys think??? thanks ~erinn — Erinn M. Down 75 pounds in 3 months--doesn't sound like it's doing any damage! I
think as long as it doesn't cause you to consume too many calories it
should be okay. If you're doing it all day long, you may want to watch out
for the grazing mentality. It's best to train yourself against grazing
because when you get tired of sunflower seeds you may switch to something
else that is not so innocuous if you get used to having a little something
all day long. Other than that, it doesn't sound too bad.

I very rarely post a negative response to other posters, but damn it, if
you want to sip some water, then sip some water. As far as sunflower seeds,
go for it! I have been eating anything I want, except sugars, since I was
ten days out. I also sip water with every meal. I have lost 132 pounds in
nine months, so I'd say eat your sunflower seeds, drink your water and pat
yourself on the back for your success!

I asked my Dr. about this, he said if it is a light snack, there is no harm
in drinking with it
