I'm 10 days post-op, is it OK to break up the Citracal tablets?

I spoke to my local pharmacist and she said it is all right to break up any medication except time-released, which you shouldn't be taking anyway. So go ahead and break up that Citracal into pieces you can take. You might also try crushing them.
