Question:
I need help understanding how to view liquids.
Are broth and items such as Crystal Light & Isopure etc.. something that we can constantly swallow like water? Should there be pausing between swallows such as food? I can drink all of the above easily but am wondering if I am stretching my pouch because they must stick around for processing since they are not pure water. Well you dont want to GULP but can drink as much of these items just as you
do water, as long as they are zero calories. Pouch stretching with water or
these liquids are not a problem.

Any sugar free, calorie free drink can be considered a "water"
and
you can drink as much as you want. In the early days, I found it
easier to use a straw or to sip my liquids slowly. But, have no fear,
you cannot stretch your pouch by drinking liquids. I worried about that
for a long time. According to my surgeon, a person has to work hard to
stretch their pouch. You would have to over eat to the point of nausea,
several times a day for several months to do damage. Granted, a tiny
minority of folks do this; but, they have serious psychological issues.

Crystal Light or anything that is the consitency of water can be taken at a
reasonable pace. You'd feel if you overloaded. Is the Isopure the powder
so it mixes into a light shake? Or the juicy type? If juicy type, then it
would fill your pouch in the same way, dribble in, driblble out. If you
are looking what to count toward your 64 oz intake per day, count water or
Crystal Light, but not juice or milk. Anythign caffeinated SUBTRACTS from
your total intake.
