Question:
Are we allowed to take Ultram after surgery?
Will there be side effects to this or will it damage our stomach? — Dana S. (posted on March 11, 2003)

Yes, we can take Ultram, or it's derivative, Ultracet, which is tramadol
w/acetomenophen. My rheumatologist, who prescribes mine, is very savvy
about wls - more than my pcp, and knew right away he'd have to switch my
medication after wls. So I've taken ultram daily with no problems.

Ultram is what my WLS doctor suggested that I use. It is working fine, or
maybe the weight loss is what is helping most. Good luck.
