I don't think you damaged anything you just made a REALLY bad food choice.
I am sure a lot of your dicomfort came from gas -- saurerkraut is very
gasy. At two weeks post-op you should be eating soft or pureed foods. Keep
it simple your new stomach needs time to heal.

It can take 24 - 48 hours for your tummy to get back to normal after
getting it upset like that. Try drinking some warm tea (my surgeon highly
recommends it). But try to drink - it is very easy to get dehydrated. I'd
give it another day before I got too upset - it will probably settle down
ok.

I bet you didn't damage anything, but your stomach is still sensitive. I
found that drinking cooollldddd water helped mine feel better after it was
upset (I went stupid one night and ate some pineapple). However, after
having said that, we're all different. Cold might not work for you and
warm or hot might be better. You just have to experiment until you find
what works for you. Good luck!

I was the opposite, I needed warm fluids wen I upset my pouch!! Go back to
basics for 24 hours, very soft foods, and lots of fluids. You'll be fine.
Abe be careful of those food choices!! Good Luck!

Tummy just needs a rest. I find that every week or so I have a day when I
just do not eat cause it sounds nasty. It is like a reset or something for
me. I find that warm tea (no sugar) helps settle and clean me out.
