Hello, it's me again! lol. I was looking through the library for opinions on certain breads such as burrito/fajita/quesadilla wraps, and I couldn't find anything. Are they ok? I'd love to try a wrap at Taco Bell or something, and the bread seems pretty thin and easy enough to digest. Any Opinions? Thanks :) — Kelly C. (posted on July 8, 2002)

Since those are all flatbreads (without yeast) they should be fine. They
will not swell up in your pouch/stomach (depending which surgery you had)
and make you uncomfortable. That's my feelings anyway.

The only kinds of bread/carbs that I can eat are tortillas, taco shells,
pita bread and crackers. Everythings else makes me feel really
uncomfortable.

When you eat you should try and get your protein first. If you eat lets say
1/2 a wrap you'll be eating more carbs and less protein than if you had
just eaten the meat.A wrap does sound very good though ;)

I tried to eat a wrap from taco bell and I couldn't eat the tortilla
because the consistancy was "gluey" in my mouth. Those are hard
to eat unless you drink with them and we all knowthat is a no-no. However,
a hard taco shell isn't hard for me to eat at all. Just remember about your
protein.

The avsolute, ONLY thing I have ever had a consistent problem eating is
bread. Now, keep in mind I pretty much choose to NOT eat bread, but on a
few occassions I have been out and tried it. It always seems to get stuck
in me. So, I tried a wrap...still got stuck. Oh, well, no bread for me.
Of course, I guess at this point it may be all psychological.
