Question:
Copies of Appeal letters sent to TriCare Prime Insurance?

I was denied for the plastic surgery because they considered it cosmetic. I have lost 122 pounds and I feel it is necessary to have to avoid future problems with the excess skin. Good luck getting approval, I'm 1 yr. po TT,adominaplasty [bad spelling] and breastlift/reduction. I was denied, they said it was cosmetic also. So we did self pay and have spent the last year appealing, but with not any luck. So I have filed now as out of network, that's was suggested I do the last time I talked a Tricare Rep. Haven't heard anything back from the Hospital yet. Its been 3 wks now. Good luck on your appeals.
