Question:
Has anyone had problems tolerating the Minute Maid Light Lemonade?

Usually I have no problems tolerating it, but two nights ago I drank about 4 oz of it ( I didnt guzzle it down, just sipped ) and about 10 or 15 minutes later I thought I was going to die! I had the worst stomach cramps and diarrhea. It felt like I was in labor for one of my kids! Sounds like I might have dumped but as far as I can tell there is no sugar in it and it's sweetened with aspartame. Has anyone else experienced this with this product? Id be curious to find out. I haven't had any issues of dumping with this product. However, I found that if I drank the Minute Maid Light or the other flavors - guava, mango, etc. I'd get a bladder infection within a day or so. At first I thought it was just a coincidence but after 4 or 5 times realized I couldn't tolerate them. Maybe it's the acidity or something. I love the flavor!

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM 4 MONTHS OUT AND HAVE NOT TRIED IT IN AWHILE. I LOVE THE STUFF ALSO I CAN NOT DRINK CRYSTAL LIGHT LEMONADE OR THE ICE TEAS WHICH I ALWAYS DRANK BEFORE SURGERY. THEY MAKE ME FEEL SICK. CHRIS

i haven't tried minute maid, but crystal light lemondade and i do not get along. i didn't get as sick as you, but i had pretty bad cramps and felt like something was eroding the lining of my stomach. luckily i can drink water easily, and i usually just keep it simple.

Okay, now people are really going to think I'm nuts but... I know some people can not tolerate certain artificial sweeteners. In my situation, I find that I can tolerate some of them in some things but not in others. It makes it tough but eventually I'm hoping it evens itself out. Good luck!

I love it and drink it all the time with no problems! Tastes much better than Crystal Light to me!!!

hi kris, i think that you should wait a few days maybe a week and try again. i love minute maid lite can guzzel the whole can in two swigs.

I absolutely love this lemonade and have no problems with drinking it. I also love the Diet Lipton Brisk ice tea. I was addicted to sodas before the surgery so it was nice to be able to find something to replace the soda.
