Question:
Why does it hurt when I eat?

Whenever I eat it hurts in my throat area and stomach and there is no way I can eat. I have no problems with liquid and I am 4 mos post-op    — Dania B. (posted on April 4, 2003)

How much are you eating at a time, over how much time? Of what? When does it hurt--like with the swallow or 15-30 min later, 2 hours later? When does it stop hurting? How does water taste? Can you describe where on your body it hurts, like close to ribs, closer to neck?
