Question:
How long does it take for the B-12 shot to kick in?
I got my first on Monday this week and if anything I have been ALOT more tired than I had been. In fact when I got the shot I remember thinking I couldn't feel any better and I was probably wasting my money. Now, I keep waiting for it to kick in because several people told me how great they felt when they got the shot. I had been taking a chewable 1000 mcg a day. Thanks for your input. k. — Kay S. Not everyone gets a power surge from them. We've never let our B12 levels
fall TOO low, so we just hold a pretty steady "ok" level. Never
feel a thing. My dad gets them with us (we all shoot each other) and he
also doesn't get any power surge.

I have had 2 b-12 shots since Oct 2 and I do not feel any energy at all. I
still get tired.

I started taking B 12 injections in September, I started by giving 1cc
injections every day for 7 days then 1cc 3 times a weeks for 3 weeks, then
1cc once every 3 weeks, and I feel NOTHING, I am still tired. I had hoped
for that magical burst of energy also but.......

I give myself B12 injections, too - about every three weeks. I find the
energy-related benefit is more what does NOT happen than what DOES happen.
I don't get any dramatic rush, but I do not get as easily tired, either.
This improved stamina lasts about 2.5 weeks, then I start to lag a bit
until I get another dose.
