Go to www.spotlighthealth.com, click on obesity, then support groups and
you will find a support group just for lap banders with lots of advice and
others who have had the lap band.

Kimberly,
I stayed on clear liquids and liquid protien for about 3 weeks and then
about ten days of smooth foods like yogurt and cream soups. From there I
started solids (little tiny amounts at first) like beans, spaghetti sauce,
scrambled eggs, fish, cottage cheese. I made sure to get 40 to 60 grams of
protien per day after about week two. I don't think you have to be this
careful but it helped me to break the craving sweets cycle, listen to my
body's need for protien, and get through the pschological dependence on
food. You can e-mail me directly if I can help. Good luck!
