Question:
Does anyone know if Dr. Needleman at OSU does distal or proximal, or is each patient

i had dr needleman in jan of this year and he goes by how much over weight you are i had distel i9 weighed 328 not quit 6 months out and i have lost 94 lbs. i think he is very good

Mary Hughes is right, Dr. Needleman evaluates each patient individually. My surgery was more distal than proximal, I started at 302, and I'm down 102 pounds since 9/21/01, my surgery date. My impression is that he is thorough, cautious, compassionate and very, very busy! Good luck, Jay.
