Not sure because this is what the doctor recommended for the cottage cheese
test. I did it and at 9 mos post op the functional size of my pouch is 6.5
oz. I think this is what I have always dreamed of....no dumping and eat
whatever I want in a small amount. If I could only get my head to quit
craving more! Anyone else do the test and what were your results?

Deborah,
Check out the "last 300 questions" and it is under The Cottage
Cheese Test. It is a test you can do that was created by a surgeon to see
how much your pouch can hold. It is very interesting. I posted the answer
on how to do it on Tuesday, Aug 21, I think. It is still listed under the
"last 300 questions" under that date. Click on it to see an
explanation. Ok?

You can use oatmeal. It needs to be thick, cooked oatmeal however. The
packages of instant oatmeal aren't thick enough.
