Question:
Can anyone tell me on the average what we will spend on Protein drinks
just per month or so just an average...just to be prepared and have some ready and all. I love that pro 100 yum yum — Jackiis (posted on August 19, 2001)

I hope you're not blaming ME for your PS100 addiction! If you prefer the
wheys and you are planning to get your 60g this way, you'll need a appx 3
cans per month. Does that help? That'd be 2 drinks. Each drink being 32g
(2 scoops). If you went to something like Universal, it comes in a bucket
as big as a Costco dishsoap, WAY cheap, fairly popular. But it's not
PS100, know what I mean?

Barbe, I really want to understand your formula, but it can't be right as
it exists right now... 300 lbs * 10 = 3000 *12= 36000 * 0.04 (4%) = 1440gms
of protein per day! Maybe you mean weight times 10 to 12 (sliding scale)
times 4%? That gives me 120 to 144 grams, which still seems ridiculous but
is perhaps what you mean. Help!

I tend to use a variety of drinks, so I don't get bored, but I'll see if I
can break it down. The Designer Protein powder costs me about $1.25 per
serving (two scoops per serving, 20 servings in a can costing $25.00). But
some days, I prefer to drink either a pre-mixed Extreme Pure Pro, or a
pre-mixed Isopure (especially if I'm rushed), and those run me about $3.00
each (either one has 40 grams of protein). Soooooo.....in a typical 30 day
month, I'll use the DP for about 22 days ($27.50), and a drink the other 8
($24.00), for a monthly total of $51.50. -Kate-
