You can purchased problend 55 at GNC Stores. It cost runs between $30.00- $33.00. I like the chocolate and strawberry.

Another good protein source is Knox flavored gelatin - its 40 calories and 9 grams of protein, you can get it sugar-free. I just bought 14 pkgs. (a two-week supply if you just take it once a day) for $7.99 on sale at Osco Drug.

I just purchased some of this, and other samples, from vitalady.com. She sells samples of her protein mixes, so you don't have to invest the usual $25-30 per jar only to find out the mix stinks! My order arrived quickly, and I'm going to check off which drinks I like and don't like, (I ordered about eight different samples).

You might also try your local gym. I found many good protien supplements there that the vitamin stores don't carry.

I have only ordered (smaples) from VitaLady. I love how I get all sorts of other info with my order. She sends a sheet where you can keep track of the samples you try and write if you like them.
