hi there,
i was recently told that tricare prime WILL pay for a revision if your PCP,
surgeon, or other specialist puts in a referral for it. i've had some
problems recently and it looks like i may have to have one. they may even
end up sending me to a civilian specialist at no cost due to a lack of
availability within the military treatment facilities out here in seattle
where i am. i don't know about availability out where you are though.
sorry. good luck!

i live here in va bch, va. and we were told that we would have to eat some
of the cost for every thing we want done and it can range from 2,000 -
4,000. but they have to put in a referal and that would only happen if you
were at least 18 months out of surgery and then it is a two year waitibg
list once you are on the list but, it can very differently in every region
with tricare though so i would suggest to talk to your doctor about it or,
call tricare to see what they have to say about it
