The skin will still hang and more than likely be worse.

I had my surgury on June 9, 2005. I was in the same situation as you,
however my youngest is almost 13. I have noticed that as my stomach
shrinks, the overhang has gotten better not worse. Maybe I will feel that
it is worse when I am smaller because I am smaller. I don't know. All I
can say is, I can now see parts of me that have been hidden for a long
time. Good luck!

I think it depends on the individual person... I had my surgery on June
17th and prior to my WLS surgery, I had gallbladder surgery, 3 hernia
repairs and 2 c-sections. I had a lot of overhang of skin. But because I
exercise daily and I've lost a lot of inches, my overhang of skin is going
away; it's not worse.

I truly hope it goes away, I've had 3 c-sections, and appendicitis.....I
hate my hanging tummy ;P
