Question:
Is there a doctor in NY who will do a revision
I had the rny when I was 21 in 1991 and lost 160 lbs. Well 13 years later with much regret I have gained back 80lbs. I have tried every diet under the sun but it just keeps comming on. I would like to have it done again. — skyler218 (posted on October 13, 2004)

Starr,
I've heard of several people using Dr. Gagner in NYC. His contact info can
be found at www.duodenalswitch.com - under the "Surgeons" link.

Not sure, but check in with Drs. Roslin and Kurian at Lenox Hill. Their
website is: WWW.nomoreobesity.com. Dr. Gagner also has a very good
reputation.

You might want to pose this question to the NY Board and look in the libary
under revision surgeries. I had the VBG done in 1985 and blew it
completely but was revised in December 2003 to the DS. I am completely
happy with this decision. You may want to look into this as an alternative
revision surgery. For additional information I would like share this
website with you: www.gr-ds.com/comparison.

You might also want to check with Dr. Herron @ Mt. Sinai in Manhattan.
