What did your doctor tell you?

I was on liquids for the first 2 weeks. If you eat applesauce in the
future, you should buy unsweetened as most have high-fructose corn syrup in
them.

I did liquids only the first couple of weeks. I did do Apple Juice. They
wanted me to add fruit gradually so I didn't happen into a potential
dumping situation during the early recovery. Be sure when you're cleared
for applesauce thaty ou get the no sugar added kind. The regular kind is
full or corn syrup.

These questions should be answered by your doctor or dietician.

In theory, your program has given you the texture timetable they prefer.
Personally, even the natural or no sugar added applesauce is double what I
want in sugars (for good wt loss), so I tend to avoid it.

Carol unsweetened apple sauce was one of the items on my shopping list
given to me by my doctor and nutritionist. As far as it being
"good" for you or "bad" for you in sugar, believe me
you won't be able to ingest enough for it to matter. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR
JOURNEY TO BETTER HEALTH

I would not push it. It's highly beneficial if you follow the recommended
procedure and wait until your dr says you can introduce foods with subtance
or texture. Believe me, the time will pass and you'll be eating food before
you know it.. just not much!
