Question:
PLATEAU SUGGESTIONS?

H'MM WONDERING--IN PLATEAU HAVENT LOST A POUND IN A FEW WEEKS..THINKIN I NEED TO CUT BACK ON CARBS--,BUT I AM ALSO THINKIN NEED TO JUST CUT BACK PERIOD..SOO TELL ME SOMEONE WHAT HAS WORKED BEST FOR U--SHOULD IT B NOO CARBS OR CUT BACK ON CARBS DO THE "WEIGHT WATCHERS" PROGRAM--AND I HAVE A CONFESSION I HAD THE WLS SOO I WOULDNT HAVE TO DO ALL THESE DIETS-BUT,FINDING MYSELF DOIN WHAT I DID BEFORE WLS---HELP COMMENTS ARE WELCOME----8 MONTHS AROUND 120 AND DOWN 14 SIZES YEP 14 I STARTED OUT A 32/34 NOW ME A 20 AND A PROUD ONE AT THAT..CANT WAIT TO PUT ON A 18---    — Cornelia W. I am not about cutting calories. I still like to eat. I would cut carbs, increase water and make sure you are getting 5 HOURS of exercise a week.

I went back to the basics and made sure I was getting all my protein and water and I have lost 10 lbs in less than two weeks... I broke the 200 lb mark and feel like I'm in heaven. Just dont give up.....

Whenever I am stuck I cut the carbs pretty much completely out of my diet. I go back to shakes and cottage cheese for at least 3 days and it kills the carb eating cycle. It ain't easy but it works like a charm. At 277 I was never much into moderation and that has not changed all that much. I do not handle carbs well at all and they halt my loss and actually make me gain almost as soon as I start eating them as well as making me a moody you know what. I have had to accept that they will just no longer be a part of my normal eating plan. I too loathe the thought of a diet so I just eat the way that works for me. NO carbs. That said I eat any kind of protein I like and never watch my fat and have lost all of my weight but for 3 pounds in 1 year. Those 3 will be gone in the next 2 weeks hopefully as long as I stay on track. I started at a size 24 and am now an 8 and I am getting my tummy done in 2 weeks!!! YAY! You can do it, you have done so wonderfully already!
