Question:
will drinking to much water stretch your pouch ?

I have no problem drinking water, as a matter of fact I drink about a GALLON A DAY! I drink 16 oz of water before each meal, and after, I'm beginning to worry if this is stretching my pouch.I'm finding that I can eat more now than I could a few months ago.Is this normal as well.I am almost nine months post op.    — littleDimples (posted on November 3, 2003)

Nope perfectly normal water passes right thru our pouches. Dont drink immediately before or fter eating or you will wash moore food thru your pouch and be able to eat more.

Since surgery, I find that I crave water. I expressed this concern to my Surgeon who said that I'm fine as long as I wait the required time before and after meals to drink.
