Question:
Has anyone had a sleeping pill's affect be more dramatic than before sugery?

Has anyone had a sleeping pill's affect be more dramatic than before sugery? I get literally "DRUNK" on them. I never had this problem before. I am an RN and understand the pharmacology...but since us "losers" had our piping rerouted, we r a different bumch. Just curious...thanks    — Connie R. (posted on November 3, 2003)

hmm . . . . well, I take phenobarbital for epilepsy, 120 mg, take it at night, my doctor hasn't adjusted my dose and I haven't had any different reaction to it.

I take Ambien 10 mg. and on rare occasions I feel somewhat punch drunk, but it is something that never happened in the 2 years prior to my surgery.
