I am 56 and had my panniculectomy done in February. I had surgery on
Tuesday and got out of the hospital on Friday afternoon. I was off work
for two weeks but I really think I could have gone back in one. It was
painful the first few days, but my doctor kept me on the PCA til an hour
before I left the hospital. By Sunday, I was completely off all pain meds.

I had my extended TT and thigh lift 3 weeks ago and am doing well. My
surgery took every bit of 8 hours and I had an overnight stay and went home
in the AM. It was much less painful than the original WLS, but everyone has
a different pain tolerance. If you feel that you are close to goal, start
looking now for the best PS you can afford.
