Question:
Any advice on portioning Real Meals servings?
I am pre-op and researching and sampling different protein/vitamin supplements for post op use. I just tried Real Meals and really like it. My only problem with it is trying to divide it equally into servings. Since we only absorb 30g protein at one time... and Real Meals comes in pouches of 60g protein... I want to be able to split the amount equally so that I'm not getting too much in one serving and not enough in the other. All of you are so creative that I just know that someone out there must have a few tips on how they use Real Meals. One option I thought of was to split it into 3 servings instead of 2... but I wanted some input from the pros (post-ops). — Kimberly B. (posted on November 24, 2002)

OK, I just went in my kitchen and measured it out. There is exactly one
cup pf pouder in a pouch. So that makes it pretty easy I guess. For two
shakes use half a cup each, for three use one third cup each. I guess that
I should probably measure but usually I just pour out what looks like half.

How about measuring them however you want, like the previous poster said,
and storing them in miniature baggies. Or, if you want to split them
"as you go" Vitalady sells little protein powder containers, or
I'd imagine you can find something similar, small screw-top plastic jars or
something.
