Question:
How long after TT do you retain all this fluid?
I am 2 weeks post op from a TT and Breast lift/augmentation. I am concerned because I am still retaining what seems to be alot of fluid in my abdomen, and I am nervous that it will never be as flat and tight as I had hoped. My doctor is not concerned and tells me that it will eventually re-absorb, but the emotional side of me wants to see results soon. For any of you that had a TT, can you share with me your post op experiences and tell me how long it took for your stomach to heal fully and look it's best? Thanks in advance. — Vicki K. Hi! I've know people who had TT's and had swelling for more than 8
weeks.....everyone still has swelling at 2 weeks, so don't worry
yet.....just imagine what it's going to look like once you are all healed!

I retained fluid for almost 2 months. Everyone is different. Don't worry
though. When it finally disappears you will be completely flat. I hope
this helps. Your Weight Loss Pal,

I went into the hospital weighing 140. I came out the next day at 145!!
However, my stomach has never looked or felt bloated. It's been flat since
the day after the surgery. I did lose the extra 5 pounds of water weight
and an additional 5 pounds within about 3 weeks after surgery. I've lost
about 8 pounds since the beginning of September.
