Question:
Does anyone know of a PS in Nashville who accepts insurance???
I have an appt with a goo dPS but they do not accept insurance. The nurse told me that no PS will. And that no insurance will cover a TT/Arm lift even if I have a dermatologist who has documented profo that it's medically necessary. Anyone know of one in Nashville/surrounding areas who does accept insurance? I got this PS directly off my insurers website so I'm a bit confused. And the cost of what I want done without insurance paying is roughly 15 grand. Not too bad but it's a new car and not sure if we can be approved for hte load to get it and pay out of pocket. :( Thanks! — Renee V. (posted on October 1, 2002)

Contact your insurance company and ask for a list of plastic surgeons who
are covered by your insurance. The nurse is wrong. Insurance companies do
contract with plastic surgeons and they are part of HMO, POS and PPO
provider networks.
