Question:
Where can I find no sugar added Carnation Instant Breakfast locally?

Hi! I'm having really good results by starting my day with a CIB shake. But, I've noticed that if I switch to the NSA CIB that I'll save 1/2 the calories. Haven't been able to find it in any of the chain stores near me (western MA and also Vermont). Netgrocer is perpetually out of it. I want to try it before I stock up on an amount, like a case or something. Anyone been able to find NSA CIB in a store? Please let me know! =) Sarah    — Sarah C. (posted on July 7, 2002)

I'm not near you, but I get mine at Super Walmart. I love it! I drink one in the morning and one at night to help get my medicine down. It's a lot less expensive that protein drinks but still has a decent amount - once you add skim milk it's 12-13/g protein a serving.

My surgeon's office gave me a form when I got my surgery date to order a case (64 packets) of CIB sugar free for $30.09 directly from Nestle. It took about a month to come, but was very handy when it did. I think I saw a 800 number where you can call and order direct over in one of the nutrition forums.

I've found it at Walmart, Target, and at my local grocery stores. I also add a tasteless protein powder to mine to get the most out of it.<p> Good luck in your search.

I live in Vermont and buy the sugar free CIB at Shaws, Grand Union, and Price Chopper. I really like it. I usually add a banana and put it in the blender to get some fruit in. I think I will check out Cathy's deal; 64 packets for $30. sounds good. It is expensive...I pay around $4.75 for 8 packets.

Walmart and Publix carry it. Sometimes they sell out of it and you have to recheck back another time. If your Walmart is continously out of it, Call 1-800-Walmart and tell them about it and the address of your local store. It does no good to say anything to the people in the store. For Florida & GA: Notify the store manager at customer service. They will order anything in the customer wants. Publix is know for their customer service. Especially if you tell them its for post surgical treatment.

I was never able to find it locally. I ordered it from www.netgrocer.com. Came within a week with no problems.

THANKS to all who responded!! I ended up trying Christine's suggestion of going to the store locator - found it at A&P Foodmart in Ct which is 20 min from myhouse to try. Expensive though - $4.59 for 8 packets. If I like I think I will order a case too... thanks everyone! YOU'RE THE BEST!! =) Sarah

You can order this by the case from the manufacturer directly. 64 packs per case at $30.09 per case , they have milk chocolate or vanilla creme. This price includes shipping and handling, must have street address - it comes via ups - no po boxes. It takes about 3-4 weeks.
