Question:
What kind of success have post-ops had getting plastic surgery?

I am 7 months from lap BPD/DS and down 110 lbs, but know I will be needing plastic surgery -- most troubling now are my bat wings! Has anyone had luck with insurance paying for "reconstructive surgery", found reasonable rates at teaching, residency program hospitals, or had any other ideas for affording skin redundancy surgery? I live in NYC area and would like to start researching and making plans for the inevitable. Hey, I'm not complaining, just trying to make the most out of my new life!    — Jill L.
