I haven't failed, but I wanted to write to you anyhow. You just start over
again. Don't ever give up. Call your doctor immediately and get an
appointment. Find out what alternatives are available for you. Hang in
there.

Hi Rebecca, How long ago did you have surgery, and have you seen your
surgeon lately? You may have a large stoma that is causing youto gain some
back , are you able to eat large amounts of food at once? If you do have
this problem, I am not forsure if it can be fixed or not, but I heard that
some ppl do get there fixed, but anyway you are not a failure! Please call
and talk with your surgeon and have him run dome tests on you to see what
is going on! They should be involved and continue to see what the problem
is that is causing this. Good luck to you!

You might have a mechanical issue, like staple line disruption, or be too
proximal for YOU. People do have revisions to lose the rest of their wt,
transected or not. The other component is to have a good post-op plan, but
that won't help if your surgery is broken.

Hi Rebecca,
Have you considered a revision or conversion?
Here are some Yahoo groups that may be of interest to you:

Remember - YOU don't fail. Surgeries fail, not people.
Blessings,
dina
