Question:
Will they pay for reconstructive surgery?

I will be 18 months post-op 9/19. I need a tummy tuck,arm reduction, bust lift & skin removal from upper legs. Does anyone know if Medicare/Medicaid of NJ pays for this?    — socco58 (posted on August 30, 2002)

I just went to my plastic surgeon yesterday and he told me he will do my tummy tuck and breast lift and I have Medicare. With Medicare they dont even need approval. I was totally shocked. AS long as the doctor deems it medically needed Medicare wont fight it. I will be having my TT and Breast Lift within the month. Good luck I hope everything turns out for you.
