Can you use CA Short-Term Disability for WLS?

I was on California short term disability for 2 months when I had my open distal bypass. No problems at all. Good Luck

i also had open distal rny on 11/12/02 in california and collected california state disability for eight weeks-70lbs best wishes on your journey

I am 4 1/2 weeks post op for an open RNY and currently on CA short term disability. No problem, the surgeon just sent in a statement with my paperwork and I received my first check 3 weeks after surgery. You can print the forms off of the website and take them to your doctor's office. They should be familiar with sending in the forms.
