Just want to understand your question. Allowed by whom? All dr's will tell
you a little something different so if your dr is one of the picky ones you
should ask him/her. My dr told me I could eat whatever I wanted as long as
I tolerated it 6 weeks post op. I have eaten the blue bunny NSA stuff and
found it pretty darn tasty. I even ate it while on liquids (the healthsmart
bars ff/sf) to give myself something to chew. I loved them. (I was never on
clear liquids even in the hospital.) I think anything is OK in moderation
once you are released by your dr. Diets don't work--but WLS does! Follow
your dr's instructions until you are on real food then go for it!

There are a lot of great sugar-free products out there, but make sure the
carbs aren't too high (over 15 grams per serving). If they are, you'll
dump anyway, and it could hurt your weight loss.

Some taste worse than others. Personally I like HEALTHY CHOICE (No Sugar
Added) Mint Cholate Chip, and Vanilla. They do have some sugar, but not
alot. And surprisingly low in calories too! (Often sugarless or low sugar
items have tons of fat and calories).

Most things are "allowed" within moderation. You just have to
read the labels (and serving size). I have recently tried a real treat:
Reduced fat, no sugar added Klondike ice cream squares. OMG Yum!!! I eat
1/2 of one, give the other half to my boyfriend, and it is delicious and
the calories, fat, etc. are not outrageous. :o)

I like the Breyers Neopolitan no sugar ice cream. However, be very careful
about the portion you eat. I had a small bowl with no problem but went
back for seconds and spent a good 30 minutes in the bathroom. Granted, I
needed to go anyway since I had been constipated since my tummy tuck and
this involved no straining of my muscles so I guess it was ok to do and
cleaned me out finally.
