Menu and Recipe Ideas
I am 10 weeks out and I still find myself not being able to find any good food to eat. I need something better than pizza and spaghetti to eat. Please Help! oh, and is 56.5 pounds pretty good for 10 weeks? — Denise S. (posted on February 19, 2002)

Victoria Bowen has a cookbook and also posts recipes on the message board
frequently. If you go to her profile, you can get more information on the
cookbook. I would say that 56.5 pounds in 10 weeks is great. When did you
ever lose 5+ pounds a week in any previous diet?

all the time!!!

Allrecipes.com is a great website for recipe ideas. You can do a search in
different ways including by meats or what kind of dish. It also gives
nutritional value for a serving, and the recipes are rated by previous
users. I use it all the time. Quick meals that I like to make just for
myself include 1/2 grilled cheese with tomato soup, 1/2 english muffin
toasted and topped with tom. sauce and grated cheddar, then melted in the
micro. I also buy frozen pre-cooked, de-veined, peeled shrimp at Wal-mart
and eat that for a meal with cocktail sauce. To fix all you have to do is
run under cold water for 5 minutes and you have a quick lunch. I also like
to buy the imitation crab meat and heat that up and have with a little
lemon-butter. Yesterday I had a 1/3 steak and cheese sub. The whole thing
lasted 3 days. I like to make the cheese stuffed shells for my family for
dinner and for me I pick out the cheese, and eat the vegetable that I fixed
with it. You can eat almost anything, but what I do is always pick out the
protein first, then kind of pick at everything else. Try some crock pot
recipes from the website, the meat is so tender and goes down great. Bon

That's excellant weight loss for 10 weeks.Have you tried grilled cheese
with turkey slices yet.Wow is it good.
I also like to fix one egg with a piece of american cheese on top.And maybe
a piece of toast with peanut butter on the side.Of course you can't eat it
all but what a meal.Lots of protein.
