Weight Loss Due to Tummy Tuck- How many pounds of skin do you normally lose with a tummy tuck and a

I see so many people concerned about being 10 or so pounds within goal and it's made me wonder what kind of weight loss you can expect from having that excess skin removed. I am scheduled for an abdominoplasty and armlift surgery next week. Both my bariatric surgeon and plastic surgeon were in agreement that the surgery should remove approximately 15 more pounds of extra tissue, which would place me at goal. It will be interesting to see how accurate that estimate is :-)
