Question:
Avon has cute medical alert bracelet.

This is more for everyone's information. A lady in my office gave me an Avon book to look at and I found a very cute medical alert bracelet. I comes with both a charm bracelet and one of lapiz (blue) that are interchangeable. I was thinking of making extra bracelets to go with different outfits as the alert tag has toggle clips on each end so you can change the band. I know many of you out there are looking for cute bracelets and thought you might want to know about this one. It comes in a nice gift box, with a wallet card, and the one I ordered just says "medical condition" on the back and now I will have to get it engraved. I'm "supposed" to have my surgery on 6/3/05 (next Friday!) but are in appeals with the insurance company. I know I will eventually be approved, so I sent ahead and ordered the bracelet. Hi, I had this braclet too, I agree it is very cute, but mine broke. I had to return it to Avon 3 times to get a replacement. 1st the medical emblem fell off, then the clasps broke, and finally the emblem fell off again. And I gave up on it. I know it doesn't cost much, so the money spent may not be a big issue, but if you want it for medical purposes (which is the whole reason for wanting one) I'd go with one with the emblem engraved on it. Just my 2 cents. :)
