Question:
After taking a chewable vitamin how long before I can drink.

I do the same with food, 1 hour. I take vitamins with food so its easier. I
just don't want to push those vits through the system before they have a
chance to absorb.

I have never been told not to drink following vitamins (I am 2 years
post-op and my labs are good). Even with the chewables I take a drink of
water afterward and need water to swallow the other capsules. The vitamins
are absorbed in your intestine not your stomach. I also use B-12
sublinguals which are absorbed immediately under the tongue and only have
to wait for them to dissolve before drinkly again.

that's "drinking" again (I'm a lousy typist)

To my knowledge, there is no "waiting" period between chewing a
multiple and drinking. I drink immediately after taking my vitamin, mostly
to get the taste out of my mouth!
