I take CitraCal. Two tablets twice a day. They give me no troubles and my
Calcium count has always been good on labs. I get a bottle of 150 at
WalMart for around $8.

I buy calcium citrate chewable tablets from www.bariatricadvantage.com.
They are specially formulated for bariatric patients. They come in
chewable chocolate, mint and cinnamon. I buy all 3 flavors and enjoy them
all. I take 3 chewables twice a day and that equals 1200 mg of calcium
citrate.

I buy mine from Vitamin Shoppe and you can also buy them online at
http://www.vitaminshoppe.com I take two in the morning then wait another 2
hours and take 2 more. Then, I wait again for 2 hours and take a fifth
one. The ones I take kind of taste like sweet tarts and they are chewable.

I get mine at nutritionguys.com for about $10 for a little over a thirty
day supply. Make sure that you are getting calcium citrate instead of the
carbonate(Ex.Citracal). The citrate absorbs better. There was a long term
postee that was just recently diagnosed with osteoporosis because all this
time she had been taking the carbonate and did not know. Goodluck to you!

The best one for me so far is the 500 mgs. gel capsules that dissolve so
fast from www.Vitalady.com. Be sure to only take 1 capsule at a time
because the body can only absorb that much. Calcium Citrate. I TAKE 3 A
DAY. MJ

I take LIQUID Calcium Citrate and I buy it at Vitamin Cottage for $8 a
bottles that lasts a month. I take 1 tablespoon in the am and one at
bedtime. It beats those huge pills FOR SURE. I think the blueberry flavor
is the best, strawberry was almost impossible in my opinion. Good Luck.

HI, I noticed no one told you to not take IRON at the same time. They
counter act eachother. They should be 2-3 hours apart. Also, the doctors
recommend citrate because it does not need to be taken with food.
Carbonate does. It is only absorbed WITH food. Find what ever form works
for you and do it. I use both chewables and liquid. It depends on where I
am and what I am doing. The liquid needs to be in the fridge so it's
harder to travel with. Good Luck.
